"BALTIC PEARL" FILM FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE IN OCTOBER THIS YEAR

01.09.20

In 2020, due to the spread of Covid-19 infection, the festival "Baltic Pearl" will take place in the "Splendid Palace" movie theatre from October 7 to 11, instead of as usual in September.

The festival will be opened by the intoxicating comedy of the world-famous Danish film director Thomas Vinterberg with the promising title "Another Round". The film was included in the official program of this year's Festival de Cannes and will be screened at both the Toronto International Film Festival and the San Sebastian Film Festival.

More information about the "Baltic Pearl" film program can be found on the festival's website, as well as on the “Biļešu serviss” website.

This year, tickets to the films shown during the festival are sold only in "family packages" – two, three or four entrance tickets can be purchased in one "family package".

Ticket sales for the screenings of the film festival "Baltic Pearl" take place at "Biļešu serviss" Ltd sales points and on the website. From 7 September 2020, tickets will also be available at the “Splendid Palace” movie theatre box office.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION!

The movies will be shown with simultaneous voice-overs, which can be heard through regular earphones with a standard 3.5 mm connector (as for computers).

To hear the translation in your personal earphones, you will need jacks, which you can receive for a 1€ lien.

After the screening you will receive this money back by handing in the jack.

In order to test the earphones quality and translation language choice, we kindly advise you to arrive 10-15 minutes before the session. This is needed to avoid any inconvenience during the movie.
