  • FILM LENGTH

The film selection is put together keeping in mind the interests of the viewer and how frequented the cinema is. The repertoire of the upcoming week (up to Thursday) is announced on the Friday of the preceding week.

 

  • DISCOUNTS

Students of all educational establishments, senior citizens, members of the “Splendid Palace” Film Academy and persons with a disability (Group I, II and III) are eligible for a discount for film screenings. While making your purchase, we request to approve of the relevant accreditation/ID card. 

Discounts cannot be accumulated and do not apply to promo and special event tickets.

 

  • CINEMA VISIT FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITY

Persons with a disability who might require an entrance ramp, have a separate entrance to the right of the main entrance; an elevator is also available to access the small hall.

 

  • ADMISSION FOR CHILDREN UP TO 3 YEARS

Children up to 3 years old do not require a separate ticket if the child does not take up a separate seat and sits on the lap of their parent or guardian.

 

  • AGE RESTRICTIONS

Persons younger than the age restriction for screenings that have one can attend the screening if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The employees of the cinema have the right to ask for personal identification as well as refuse the sale of tickets to persons that do not meet the given age restriction.

The age restrictions of screenings is based on the film classification rules by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia.

 

 

  • SPECIAL SCREENINGS

Please pay attention to the starting time of special screenings! To ensure that visitors enjoy the experience, those who arrive after the beginning, will not be allowed into the screening hall.

 

  • LOST ITEMS

Inquiries about lost items can be made to the workers of the cinema or by writing to splendid@rigasnami.lv

 

  • IS IT POSSIBLE TO RESERVE A SEAT FOR FILM SCREENINGS THAT ARE FREE OF CHARGE?

For events that are free of charge, seating is limited and making reservations is not possible, so please arrive at the screening in a timely manner.
